Olga de Dios

She has drawn, painted and colored all her life.
She graduated in illustration at the School of Art Number 10 of Madrid.
Thanks to the  Apila Primera Impresión Award 2013, she was able to publish Monster Rosa, her first children’s picture book. A story that shows diversity as an enriching element of our society. Monster Rosa was also recognized with the 2013 Aurelio Blanco Award granted by the Community of Madrid.
This picture book also received the Golden Pinwheel Award, in the category of best international children’s album, at the Children’s Book Fair in Shanghai in November 2013.
Olga de Dios has become one of the leading figures in children’s illustration in Spain and Latin America. Her books have been published in more than 15 languages.
She currently lives in Madrid and combines her career as an illustrator with that of graphic designer for various institutions. Her work is focused on the promotion of illustration as a tool for education and the transmission of values ​​of solidarity.
