In 2013 Apila Ediciones created the Apila First Impression Award to give illustrators and illustrators the possibility of publishing their first professional album without any work published with ISBN (except for self-publishing).
From then until today, the Apila Awards have served to make practically the majority of its winners jump into the professional world of illustration.
We are very proud of it and it encourages us to continue on this path in successive editions.
IMPORTANT: This year’s call has already ended.
The bases for the year 2021 will be published in June 2020.
